I don't know why I'm posting this here.. maybe cuz'..... i do what i want?
i'm too tired to hit shift more then necessary. but. i'm adjusting to chrona. she's.. not so bad. i was being harsh. i admit her personality irritates me, and always will, but i did, throughout the entire episode, have a lot of hope for her. i want her to be friends with all the others, despite the situation. which is weird, considering she's the enemy. but i hate medusa. i want chrona to be able to escape from that mental prison they seem to have woven. i want her to cheer up.. xD

Medusa is an evil *!@$(*#. She broke down all of Chrona's will and put it back together to use to her advantage. She frightened the living daylights out of him, but he couldn't refuse anything she said. I think that pretty much everyone in Chrona's situation would have turned out the same way - it would be different if it happened after you had already built up a strong personality, but this has happened all of Chrona's life.

I saw a video on YouTube of the Soul Eater Cast at a con a few days ago and Brittney (Black Star) showed eveeryone this really weird stance that she did everytime she went into the booth to record - "He needs more balls! More balls!" Apparently Black Star is her first male role.

That panel was hilarious. Someone asked the cast what their favorite quotes were, and my favorite answer was Monica's (Tsubaki):

"I think it was either 'Black Star?' or 'Black Star.' or 'Black Star!!'"

And in response to the question "If you could describe your character in one word, what would it be?"

Micah (Soul): Cool.
Brittney (Black Star): Big.
Todd (Kid): Uh, it starts with an "S" and ends with "ymmetrical".

Nurture vs. Nature;
You believe the actions one takes or the person they become depends on the experiences they had or the way they were raised and treated when their minds were young and easily molded. Aka nurture. Right?

I can agree with that, but only to a certain extent. I am neutral when it comes to this argument. I believe that nature also plays a part in the result of dominant characteristics within a person. For example; my brother and I are twins. We were raised the exact same way. We shared the same bed, took baths together, and lived under the same roof with the same parents. I turned out much louder and more outgoing than he. He turned out quieter and shy. Why? I don't know. We were treated the same. Raised the same. I am more aggressive and he is more passive. This, I think, is nature. (Disregarding physical aspects, such as gender, because we don't even know what Chrona is for certain.)

Chrona was raised all her/his life extremely poorly, and you're right, Medusa abused her to the point of mental instability. I don't think I've seen ALL of her past. I just finished the fight between she and Maka. But from what I could tell, she was only put in isolation with Ragnarok AFTER she refused to kill the "little one". That's a debate of nature.

I've never been put in a situation like that, but from how well I know myself (which is better than anyone; xD) I can say that, being raised by an evil witch, I would have killed the creature before being bullied by Ragnarok. If not the first time, then definitely the second. Why? I don't know. It's in my nature. I know for a fact I possess more strength than Chrona, and a sure lack of sympathy and guilt. I'm not unkind, but I know what I must do in order to protect myself. Even in the womb, I kicked my brother and pushed him to the side for space. Because of this, he was born the smaller baby, and his ear was crushed from my foot, and only away from me was he able to grow properly. This is nature. I was a baby, so no influence from others made me more dominate. It was how I was.

So basically, the premise of my argument is simply: I disagree. (I don't even know why we're deciphering why Chrona is in the mental condition she is... I'm a geek.. XDDD)
